Consent-gated Capture
Record visits for up to two hours. Capture automatically secures and transcribes five-minute protected segments in order while the visit continues, then assembles them into one review draft.
Two consent checks are required. The system must verify signed recording and AI-transcription consent from either the previsit form or the new-patient packet. The patient—and every other person who may be heard—must also agree to recording today. If anyone withdraws consent, stop and clear the recording.

Meet carries the video. BHW imports its native transcript into 24-Hour Documentation; video recording remains off.

Screen awake protection starts with recording
Keep this tab open until every segment is transcribed. While recording, supported devices are asked to keep the screen awake. Unless the screen-protection indicator says “active,” keep this tab visible and disable device sleep; the operating system or battery saver can override protection. No audio is written to Firestore or browser storage. Each five-minute segment passes through a private temporary Google Cloud Storage object that is deleted after processing. The browser releases a segment only after its transcript succeeds; failed audio remains in this open tab for Retry. If CrewHQ asks you to sign in again, use the new-tab sign-in button, return here, and Retry. Closing or reloading this tab clears any audio still held in page memory. Server logs contain the provider, consent mode, time, byte count, model, and a protected patient reference—not the audio, transcript, patient name, or BHW ID. Real-patient mode is permitted only while BHW’s Google Cloud BAA is active.
